Omnichannel pizza franchise strikes gold

Scandinavia’s largest fast casual food franchise Kotipizza approached us after realising their online store was in need of a complete renewal as off-the-shelf platforms would not solve their sales needs.

The old IBM WebSphere-based solution was performing poorly and was very expensive to operate and maintain. Also the user experience was constrained by the platform and customer satisfaction was low.
We worked alongside Kotipizza’s main IT partner and their digital marketing agency partners to deliver a modern omnichannel solution for Kotipizza that scales endlessly and is easy to maintain. The new headless Kotipizza.fi is built using Node.js and Angular.js, bringing enormous performance benefits and personalization capabilities.
Since the launch of the app and the new web store Kotipizza sales have grown year on year by 25%. A sales record was reached in May of 2020 when the online sales grew by 152%.
